RARES is the acronym for the Regional Area Recreation and Employee Services Association. RARES is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting Employee Services and Recreational programs as an integral factor in sound business management principles and workforce readiness initiatives.
Who We Are
RARES is an association of more
than 350 member business organizations. And as a result of
this association, voluntary membership is extended to the
234,000+ employees of our authorized General Member organizations.
Our employee association provides its membership a number of
benefits including RARES provides employers and organizations with a
comprehensive variety of discounted employee/member programs. We do
this by acting as a catalyst for implementing various activities
(such as educational sessions which are generally free for our
membership to attend), events, and special offers that would be
beneficial to our members. We allow smaller groups the
opportunity to provide their employees/members with the large
company benefits, and we work with larger companies to tailor
programs designed to meet their individual needs. The discount
program you see featured here on the web is perhaps our most
visible, but not the most important component of what we do. Above
all, RARES is dedicated to improving the business conditions in
the communities we operate within and in integrating recreation and
its benefits into the benefits programs of member companies.
If you are
an employee of a RARES member company, then you may become a member of RARES
and are entitled to benefit from the over 300 discounts that we offer on
local, regional, and national products and services - including
cars, computers, amusement parks, clothing, toys, and pet products.
You may also avail yourself of any of the seminars we offer our
members - many at no or low cost. You may also find access to
discounted group rates on life, auto, home, and long-term care
insurance.
RARES, a not-for-profit organization, supports activities in the community that benefit children and health services.

Don't see an organization listed that you would like to see as a member of RARES? The simplest way for us to recruit them is when you provide that "warm referral." Providing information about RARES membership is easy. Either leave behind a RARES ID card for the manager to follow-up with (you can always obtain another from your HR/Benefits Rep at work), or refer them to our web site. The membership button will lead them to everything that they need to know about becoming a RARES member. And if they join and tell us that you were the reason for their joining, then we'll offer you a Referral Reward of up to the cost of their membership (valued at up to $450 per referral). |
