General Membership is designed for businesses or community organizations interested in enhancing, developing or starting employee services programs within their company, organization, or association.  General membership in RARES is held in the name of your organization and will provide ALL employees or members of your company/organization who voluntarily wish to be included with discounts on goods and/or services that are provided by our Associate Members. We currently have over 210 General Members with a total employee population of over 175,000 people!

SECTION 3:  ID Cards

Do you plan to participate in the RARES ticket consignment program and keep some tickets for summer attractions, car washes, movies, etc., on site for employee purchase or do you anticipate having all employees purchase any tickets/coupons directly through RARES?  Alternatively, you may have your employees obtain those tickets that require advance purchase through the RARES office and not keep tickets on site on consignment OR both.  Please note that we ask this question for informational purposes only. You may ALWAYS change your mind.

You have three membership ID card options for your employees.

  1. B & W business card size, heavy paper stock ID cards are available at no charge (see picture below, lower left). They are good for one year and contain your membership ID #.

  2. Durable plasticine cards, which are good for two years and entitle you to a second year of RARES membership with no increase in annual fees, are available at our cost which is $0.30 per card plus a $10 one time set-up fee (see picture below). You will be sent more information upon receipt of this application about these two options.  If you select this option we will ask you to make a commitment to having your company remain a member of RARES for the following year as well.  For that two-year commitment, we guarantee that your membership fees will not increase in the second year.

  3. Custom designed durable plasticine cards.  For an additional set-up fee (inquire as to pricing), you may submit custom art work or allow us to design a front for your ID card that brands your organization or HR function.  A number of forward looking RARES members have utilized this option to further promote their internal benefits program to their employees.  The samples provided below are two such card designs to illustrate what is possible.  Set-up fees may vary between $50 and $85 depending upon the amount of customization available and as with option #2, all cards are $0.30 each (our cost).  If you select this option we will ask you to make a commitment to having your company remain a member of RARES for the following year as well.  For that two-year commitment, we guarantee that your membership fees will not increase in the second year.

SECTION 4:  Membership Dues

General member dues entitle you and all of your organization's employees/members to all of the benefits of RARES.  We will invoice you for dues.  Submit this application right away so that your employees can begin enjoying the benefits of RARES immediately.

RARES will publish your company's name on our web site.  Information collected on our members may be made available to our Associate Member (vendors) for promotional purposes.  RARES will NOT release your contact information or company information to organizations outside of RARES.
