What:

A behind the scenes tour, picnic dinner, and Red Wings Ball game with fellow RARES members (and their families).

 

We'll begin with an inside and out tour of Frontier Field - the box office, luxury suites, dugouts, followed by a complete, all-you-can-eat picnic style dinner provided by the Rochester Red Wings and Frontier Field in one of the park's pavilions (The Nest in Right Field).   Beginning at 7:05, the Rochester Red Wings take on the Pawtucket Red Sox in a spectacular evening game.

 

 

 

TIME CHANGE:

Because of the rain out of Tuesday's game and the scheduling of a double-header this evening times for the event have been changed to:

 

     TOUR:       4 PM

     DINNER:   Beginning at 5 PM

     GAME:       6:05

 

 

When & Where:

Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009, beginning at 4:30 pm at the front gates of Frontier Field.

 

Cost:

• Adults, $22.50.  That includes the tour, picnic meal, and a ticket to the baseball game.

• Children ages 4 - 12, the price is just $18.50.

Children 3 and under are free if they sit on their parent's lap.  Otherwise, seating will be $5.50 (no charge for food).

 

Event Details:

4:45 pm    Behind the Seams Tour of Frontier Field including a tour of the luxury boxes, the dugouts, etc.  (sorry, we're typically not able to view the locker rooms as players are dressing at this time.

 

5:45 - 6 pm   If there is a promotional giveaway, we do have to exit the ballpark at this time and re-enter.  Promotions are subject to change and the previously scheduled promotional event may or may not take place.  Those of you not wishing to obtain the giveaway may enter through the express gates and avoid any lines but not until 6 pm.  The Wings apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

6:00 pm    All you can eat Grand Slam picnic dinner featuring:

• Big Red BBQ Chicken
• Big Red BBQ Pork Ribs
• Big Red BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches *
• Char-grilled Zweigle's hot dogs **
• Baked Beans
• Coleslaw
• Potato Chips
• Watermelon
• Ice-Cold Soda & Lemonade

7:05   Reserved seating to watch the Rochester Red Wings take on the Pawtucket Red Sox.

Seating will be in section 202 (rows A-M). 

If you already have seats, please notify us and we will deduct the $5.50 group price from the cost of your package.

 

* Veggie burgers available upon request.

** Kosher Hebrew National hot dogs available upon request.

All RARES members, representatives, and their families and friends are invited to attend this informational and social networking activity.  Reservations are required and payment must be made at the time of registration.  Register online below.  If you have questions, please contact the RARES office directly at 585-503-8160 or rares@rochester.rr.com.

 

This registration confirms your attendance.  You will be invoiced electronically and payment is due no later than one week prior to the event.

Payment is due to the Wings in advance.  Cancellations received prior to July 10 are refundable in full.   Cancellations received after July 10 are not refundable as we must pre-pay the Wings for tickets and food.

We may be able to take reservations after one week prior to the event's start on a space available basis.  In the event of a late registration, we will notify you of availability once you register but please note, your registration is confirmation of your attendance and payment is due at that time..
