Coming Up - RARES Fun Week at Roseland Waterpark

Behind the Seams with the Red Wings

Always a popular event, this is our annual treat from the Red Wings - a tour of the ball park, dinner, and game.

Recently we had a RARES member on vacation purchase a heavy duty home mixer.  They felt the $399.00 price they found in this little kitchen store while on vacation was the best price they had seen and they gobbled it up, paying an additional 5% sales tax for a total of $418.95.

Unfortunately, we had to point out to them that had they taken the time to consult the RARES web site before hand, they would have seen the same mixer offered by Abe's of Maine, one of our online partners, for $369.95 - with no shipping and no sales tax added to the price  On top of that, our listing for Abe's has a coupon good for $10 off so their total cost would have been just $359.95 if they had taken the time to consult the RARES web site first - a savings of $59 or more than 14%.

Our coupon codes are not always up to date on the site but we have made provisions for members to e-mail us where that might be the case and we'll endeavor to update the latest savings opportunities immediately so take a moment when you're considering your next purchase of clothing, household items, appliances, etc., to see if we can help you save.  Your purchases help ensure that our vendors continue to offer our members substantial discounts and in some instances, the association receives  a small commission of 1% or less on your purchase.
